The Flying Aguilars get promoted!

Eric and Isaac Aguilar have become fixtures around the MMA Lab.  These two kids, still in high school, are in jiu jitsu classes, striking classes, and spar with the MMA Lab Elite.  Eric was awarded his JCBJJ/MMA Lab green belt, becoming the very first green belt given at the Lab!  He has won multiple tournaments, including his last one at orange belt.  Isaac, the older brother, was awarded his JCBJJ/MMA Lab blue belt after winning his white belt division in his last competition. Both young men are hard working and tough, and we are very proud to be part of their lives.  Thank you Isaac, thank you Eric, and congratulations to you both!

Newest JCBJJ/MMA Lab Blue Belt: Jordan Johnson

Congratulations to Jordan Johnson on his well earned promotion to Blue Belt! Jordan is an ex college wrestler, part of the Elite fight team at the MMA Lab, and already an integral part of the family here.  Good job Jordan, looking forward to many years of great success for you!

MMA Lab Elite win two Belts at RITC 162

The MMA Lab Elite team sent two competitors into the cage on Saturday night, and both young men came home with titles.

Alex Contreras made his pro debut, and dominated his game opponent en route to an easy unanimous decision victory.  Alex looked great and is going to be a handful for anyone as he continues his career.

Grizzled veteran Yaotzin Meza also earned a unanimous decision victory, taking his overmatched opponent’s back in each of the three rounds. This is victory number 19 for Yaddi, who is one of the hardest working guys, and the best team mate you could ever have.

Thank you guys for representing our academy with such skill, tenacity and class, we could not be prouder of you.

Joe Riggs wins Big in MFW

Tonight in Castle Rock, CO, Joe Riggs move his resurgent career along another notch, demolishing Josh Cavan in the first round. Competing in the MFW promotion, Riggs used all his tools; landing crisp left hands, cutting Cavan with a vicious elbow, and finishing him with brutal ground and pound.  Joe has really dedicated himself in the gym, and his dedication showed tonight with a stellar performance.  Thanks for everything you do Joe, we are all very proud of you!
