We are very excited to be going to Phoenix BJJ & MMA next week to do a promotion seminar for our good friend Kevin Scott. This will be our first time to see Kevin’s new location, and his students are always great to be around. If you are in the area, you should stop by and check out his school, Kevin is an excellent teacher and is also dangerous on the mat. Look forward to seeing everyone there next week.

From L to R: Kevin Scott, Morgan Patnode, John Crouch, Santino DeFranco
Today, two deserving young men received their blue belts at the MMA Lab. Both Ryan and Jason have been working very hard for this achievement, and are definitely deserving of these new belts!
Congratulations guys, we are very proud to have you on the team!
Congratulations to Sam Max, he became the newest purple belt at the MMA Lab. Sam has been training for a few years and has been working very hard to attain his new belt. Congratulations young man, you have truly earned this achievement!
On Saturday, in Denver, CO, Benson Henderson made his first title defense with a hard fought split decision victory over Frankie Edgar. We are always so proud of our Champ and the hard work that he puts in day in and day out. Thanks Ben for everything you do and the role model that you are for all of us. Congratulations!!!
Santino DeFranco recently moved to Flagstaff, AZ to continue his education and get his master’s degree. When we traveled to Flagstaff for Benson’s high altitude camp, we met some great people there, including George Bell, owner of The Martial Way. One thing led to another and now Santino will be bringing his considerable talents to The Martial Way and begin teaching classes! We are all very excited about Tino continuing to teach BJJ and MMA, he is simply one of the best teachers in the business. We want to wish these guys good luck, it is going to work out great for everyone!
