Efrain returned to his Arizona roots last night, fighting in a local promotion, Rage in the Cage. He had a dominant performance, submitting promising up and comer Jeremy Larson by armbar in the 3rd round.
Efrain has been training hard and is focused on returning soon to the UFC.

Yesterday all the boys got together and had a great training session at the MMA Lab.
Santino Defranco (Southwest MMA) came down with Dave, Mark and some of his students and Kevin Scott (Goodyear BJJ) joined in too.
It was great to see everyone training and competing together….looking forward to more times just like it in the future.

Happy New Year to everyone! 2010 was a great year and 2011 is going to be even better. I am so excited by all the great things going on and can’t wait to get to work on the new year.
Morgan Patnode started training with me in Denver almost 10 years ago and is one of the very best guys you could know. Morgan is now the head instructor at Mile High Gracie Jiu-Jitsu and has some great tricks on the mat!
